Learning all these new ropes was a blast. Realizing how to manage my stamina, where to roll on which attack, realizing I do the same damage one handing as I do two handing. It felt like I was on my first playthrough all over again. So, here I was, actually getting my ass kicked by the first boss. The Demon actually has a great attacks for punishing people who keep trying to strafe it. It's probably even worse fight for a veteran, I found myself getting bored and getting careless pretty easily. The presentation itself is incredible, and the music just fuels the moment. Not until I challenged the Demon with a hilt and no Estus. I had NEVER heard the full Asylum Demon(/Demon theme, I guess?) ever before. Honestly, it was probably one of the greatest decisions of my whole Souls career.
